ENTRIES TO THE ESSAY WRITING CONTEST: THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER IN HOGWARTS

1. This Essay Writing Contest is open to all who love the Magical World of Harry Potter.

3. The entry must depict on the following theme: THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER IN HOGWARTS


TIP: Think of the war-torn Hogwarts Castle after that great war between the Dark Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter. There was peace, of course in the wizarding world after the war. And what best celebration could be better than celebrate Christmas at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Imagine that it is the best Christmas ever, a great feast at the Great Hall with all those house-elves coming out from the kitchen and serving the best magical foods Hogwarts ever had. Imagine that you are one of the invited Muggles and witnessed the event. Imagine that those who died, those who went beyond veil like Dumbledore, Siriur Black, Harry’s parents, Snape, and a host of ghosts were there too, joining in the jubilation. Now, stop imagining. Write a story on the THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER IN HOGWARTS, where you are not only a spectator, but a participant.


4. The essay must be original and never been published anywhere.


5. The essay must be written in English with a minimum of 1,000 words. You can write more than 1,000 words if you want your readers see the bigger picture.

7. All entries submitted will automatically become a property of Uzzapmania.


8. To avoid biases on judging, hogwarts201 plus Uzzapmania’s Website Administrator with his/her one or two Moderators, will compose the Board of Judges. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.


9. Judges will pick three best essays, to be called 2nd Runner-Up, 1st Upper Up and The Best Essay.


10. NO CRASH PRIZE IS INVOLVED BECAUSE YOUR ESSAY IS A MASTERPIECE, AND THEREFORE, PRICELESS! However, a freebie will be given to the winner/s instead, that will include two (2) DVDs and will be sent via LBC (pick up).
